Yam Cha in Indah Keranamu

On 23 August 2015, St Mary Old Boys gathered in Indah Keranamu for hi tea organised by Chong Khen Foh and hosted by Kon Sang who came back for the weekend.

It was a pleasure for the old boys - Francis Fong, Chai Hing Wing, Stephen Ng, Chong Khen Foh, Lee Len Wing, Pang Vui Poh, Chung Ket Chung and me. We chatted from 2.30 pm to 5 pm and all relished our time together as all are now 60+.

All the Old Boys find Indah Keranamu to be a pleasant rendezvous for "yam cha" and there is also a Karaoke upstairs for those who love singing.... definitely Khen Foh will organize more "yam chai" at this rendezvous.

St Mary'sOld Boys - K Kinabalu Mini Reunion Lunch & Durian Feast

On 19 August 2015, a Wednesday, KK Old Boys organised a Seafood Lunch & Durian Feast -  a mini Reunion and also a Welcome Lunch for Edward Chik who was here for a stopover visit.

Attending the lunch were Chung Hee Meng, Edward Chik, Tommy Siew, Sim Kang Loong, Wong Wan Kong, John Liau, Leong Ming Yee, Kwan Kar Choi, Chong Tze Fah, Chang Kon Sang and by special invitation Philip Chong (Edward Chik friend from Sandakan). - making a total of 11.

Leong Ming Yee was key to the lunch preparation and helped us in buying the fish, prawns and fish head for the lunch. John Liau also brought cooked wild boar meat for us from Beaufort. Hee Meng hosted the follow up durian feast offering10 durians of different varieties. Other than a vegetable dish, Kak Leng cooked the seafood dishes for us in her kitchen from fish and prawns bought by Leong Ming Yee.

We have selected this eatery because it was Leong Ming Yee who introduced Kak Leng to us - she was from Sandakan and had worked in Bamboo Restaurant in Sim Sim and the Sandakan Central Night Market.

Kwan Kar Choi was the first to host the Lunch in this eatery a few months back.

We enjoyed a good chat and delicious seafood lunch from 12 noon to 2 pm before we dispersed.
