Reunion Breakfast, Morning Coffee & Lunch on 11.11.11

  Hi Old Boys,

On 11.11.11 morning, some Old Boys who flew in from Kota Kinabalu and Robert Fu Ka Hung (from Hong Kong) had their noodle breakfast in Guan Huat coffeeshop in Taman Tshung Ngen, Mil5, North Road, hosted by Robert Fu. (Photo 1)

Hubert Hiew who stayed in Sabah Hotel invited Richard Chan, Victor Ng and the writer for a cuppa in Plantation Cafe. The other Old Boys joined us at the Plantation Cafe after their noodle breakfast and Hubert hosted the morning coffee for all the Old Boys. (Photo 2).

After the school visit, all Old Boys who visited the St Mary Secondary School at 11 am on 11.11.11 were invited to lunch at Ocean King Restaurant, hosted by Francis Fong. (Photo 3 - 5)

The 1st photo is of the Old Boys getting ready for the group photo inside St Mary's Secondary School Teachers Office with the Principal.

The 2nd shot is the Welcome Speech and the 3rd shot is the Toast to all the Old Boys ... the other are candid shots of Old Boys giving their 3 minute life story after leaving St Mary's Secondary School ... the few shots with Hubert interviewing some Old Boys were the Competition Games  ...

Victor Ng Jong Fui

Hi Old Boys,

Victor Ng was passing through K Kinabalu (after attending the 11.11.11. Reunion in Sandakan)  on his outbound trip back to Vancouver, Canada and we organised a drink session in Bukit Padang Food Court on 20 November (Sunday) evening.

Tommy Siew, Chung Hee Meng and his partner, Sim Kang Loong, Richard Leong Ming Yee, Wong Wan Kong, Benedict Tai, Kwan Kar Choi and myself were sharing our fellowship from 8 pm until 11 pm.

Francis Fong passed two Reunion souvenir magazines for Hee Meng and Kang Loong.

We did talk about the proposed 2012 KK Reunion as announced by Jorgy Juana in his closing speech ...... but inconclusive.

Tonight, Kar Choi also shared with me his  reunion photos captured on his Leica camera. He burnt a photo CD for me to upload on St Mary's Old Boys blog .

Robert Foo also sent me 32 of his photos tonight for the blog .. we had a drink session with Robert Foo on Thursday 17 Nov with Sim Kang Loong, Tommy Siew, Chung Hee Meng & his partner... also in Bukit Padang Food Court.

11.11.11 Breakfast in Sabah Hotel

On 11.11.11, before visiting our school, St Mary's Secondary School, many Old Boys who flew in from Kota Kinabalu gathered in Sabah Hotel where Hubert Hiew and Richard Chan stayed.

All were invited by Hubert Hiew to join him (he was taking his breakfast then) for a cup of coffee at the Plantation Cafe.

The morning coffee in Plantation Cafe hosted by Hubert Hiew stirred up our sense of fellowship for the school vist at 11 am on 11.11.11.

The donation of 18 fans by some Old Boys from our Class of 1970 (Form5) and Class of 1968 (Form 3) to St Mary's Secondary School was featured in the local Chinese press "Merdeka Daily News".

Reunion School Visit - St Mary's School Sandakan

Visiting my Primary School in Town (12 Nov together with Tommy Siew and Victor Ng) and Secondary School along Labuk Road (11 Nov together with other Old Boys) really brought back fond memories of my schooling years.
