Switzerland

Hi,

When I do not have money to travel overseas, I make do with replicas of famous foreign tourist destinations...

So I pretend to visit Switzerland this week and got photos to prove...

Regards,

KS,
I take it that the place is Mt Kinabalu. I plan to go there and climb it before I get too old.

You have two drafts similar to the same subject. Not meant to be published?

Hubert,

Yes, I tried to send the earlier drafts but they disappear into thin air and don't know where?

Yes, the two drafts are superseded by my posting this morning.

You are correct, its called Mt Kinabalu Heritage Resort (previous name Perkasa Hotel). Both the hotel and chalets have a common check in counter and are run by the same management.

I did not want to post Mt KInabalu view as it may give it away that I was at Mt Kinabalu National Park and NOT in Switzerland (replica or look alike)!

The Chalets shown in the photo is No 13 and 14 which enjoy a panoramic view. Chalets 1 & 2 also offer fine view.

My advice is stay at the chalets and NOT the hotel (which is about 20 years old but refurbished)

The view can be breathtaking if the weather is right!
