FW: A little get together

I have taken the liberty to consider that this photo and the mail below all from Richard are meant to be published in our blog. A very nice photo of you all in the picture. I must say I can't quite remember the two Leongs and also Benedict Tai. Is Benedict the one who used to live next door to Edward Tan of Mile 1 1/2, Labuk Road? I can still recognise Albert Lee - his sweet smile!

Hubert Hiew

Hi All,
It had taken a few weeks but here is a photo of seven of us have a bit
of a "chin wag"at a KopiTiam in KK recently.

Leong Yun Choi, Richard Leong Ming Yee, your truely, Edmund Kwan Ka
Choi, Benedict Tai, Albert Lee Fook Foo, and Lawrence Chong Shui Lun.

We had a good old laugh re the "old school days" - brought back a lot
of fond memories. I'd not seen Leong Yun Choi, Leong Ming Yee & Albert
Lee since 1969!

Thank you to Lawrence Chong who make the initial suggestion.

Cheers & regards to all,
Richard Chan

Wow, That a very cheerful looking group... the only person I could not recognise immediately is Albert Lee (ie until I read the names.)

Yes, Benedict Tai lived in Mile 1 1/2 Labuk Road and used to walk to St Mary's from Mile 1 1/2.I was also walking to school from my house at the entrance to Sunny Estate and sometimes we walked together (also with Rubert, Jimmy and Carmen Augustine).

On that day (of the group meeting), Richard Chan called me early in the morning to meet up in KK but I was in KL for a business meeting. otherwise, I would be in the group photo.

Recently, when I came out from my Dentist Clinic, I called Kwan Kar Choi out for a drink at Damai but he was in the midst of his meeting.... so must make a serious effort to meet up with our buddy Honorary Kar Choi (as Richard Chan called Kar Choi)soon.

Again, Tommy Siew is going off to Shenzhen China again on 17 April. I called him up for lunch on Monday (13 April) but he was in the KK Income Tax Department office doing his e-filing! Deadline for filing is 30 April. He needed to file his before departing for China. There are Income Tax Dept Officers to help taxpayers out.I did my own as I have hardly any income other than salary. Obviously, Tommy needs the assistance of Income Tax Officers to help him on the spot to unravel his massive 2008 income from different sources!

Dear All,
Lawrence lost our blog address. It's a long while since I wrote to our blog. I kept the blog address etc in a note book which I can't locate now. Whilst I have theblog address, this message is only a test to verify what I remember as the e address for leaving comments.

Hubert
