Class of 70 & 68 - St Mary's Secondary School - Reunion on 11.11.11.

Hi Old Boys,

The Reunion on 11.11.11 was a memorable one ...... On the morning of 11.11.11, I went to Sabah Hotel to meet up with Hubert Hiew and Richard Chan who stayed in the hotel. Victor Ng was there before me. Hubert invited us to join him in the Planatation Cafe for a cuppa. Soon, other Old Boys arriving from Kota Kinabalu joined us.

At 10.15 am in the morning, we left Sabah Hotel and headed for St Mary's Secondary School to commence our school visit at 11 am on 11.11.2011. We were shown around the class rooms by Ms Chee, Principal of St Mary's Secondary School. The visit ended before 12 noon with a simple handover ceremony of the 18 fans donated by our Class of 70 to our school.

Fransis Fong hosted a lunch in Restoran Ocean King for all of us who attended the school visit. Francis also compiled and printed a souvenir magazine for Old Boys who were at the Reunion.

At 5,30 pm, Old Boys started arriving at Marks Lodge Hotel for cocktail and dinner which ended at 11.30 pm.

The dinner included a Youtube clip on Goldfinger, a slide show of old photos of our Class activities, Welcome Speech, Games and Karaoke. Draft beer and wines sponsored by some Old Boys were free flowing. Fellowship was very much on every one mind and we caught up one another at the dinner tables.

Three former teachers graced our Reunion Dinner - Mrs Surino, Mr Peter Har and Mr Anthony Siew.
