Old postings; Simple way to send your postings; Mysterious readers?

Dear All,

1. You will have noticed that I have deleted some of the postings which do not have our common sentimental nostalgic value. I put them up to liven the scene a bit during the previous lull.

2. To view the oldest postings which may not appear on the screen, refer to the right hand side of the blog screen and click into the month when they were posted.

3. To send your posting, simply send it to "stmaryoldboys.?????@blogger.com". For restricting this access only to you guys, I have not revealed the five letters in front of "@blogger.com". The missing 5 letters are the letters of the name of the road for the address of our school.

4. Our blogg is visited most from (refer to the map on the right hand side of the screen)
  • Hong Kong
  • Sabah (KK & Sandakan?)
  • Brisbane
  • USA West Coast (Ronnie & Camillo?)
  • USA East Coast (who?)
  • Sarawak (who?)
  • Singapore (who?)
  • Sydney (who?)

Can someone shed any light on who the mysterious visitors are from the last 4 last places in the above list?

You are encouraged to send in your postings. Happy blogging,

Regards,
Hubert Hiew

Hubert,

We are now famous globally! Aliens have been visiting us from all over the world, from every continent. Many visitors were from North & South America, Africa & Europe. We even have visitors from India, Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan, Philippines, Middle East, North & South New Zealand & Hawaii. So, a couple of visitors from Sarawak & Singapore is nothing to worry about. However, I could see that those from Sarawak & Singapore were keen visitors making multiple visits. The more visits originated from a locality, the bigger the red dots on the map. I'm pretty sure that the visitor from Sydney should be James Chiang Cheong Ping.

I'm anxiously monitoring the fallout from the Wall Street crisis. A stock market plunge can only mean a reduction in the balance of my superannuation fund account which means less money for retirement eventually.

Cheers,
James Chai

James,

If you type "St. Mary's", there are lots of hits. I guess there are a lot of random hits and also some predators lurking around.

Don't worry about the Wall Street meltdown lah. What goes up must come down. By the same token or logic, what goes down must come up! Give it 1 or 2 years it'll be back to normal. Provided you don't liquidate your shares now.

It's a good reminder that we should lay up treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt...(Mat 6:20)

Hi Everyone,

I got a simple explanation for this worldwide interest on our St Marys Old Boys blog!

Some of our handsome/masculine/ filthy rich/ sweet talkers classmates must have develop intimate relationships withthe opposite sex (hopefully not same sex) (ie multiple wives/ mistresses) all over the world(and locally) to explain for athe interests shown on our blog!

They are trying to dig out the past (or I call dirty linen) of their darling Prince(s) Charming who originate from Sabah.

Hi Hubert,

How come I cannot find your recent European Tour photos and your family photo on the blog after you have done your editing....

I try to go to September archives for your earlier postings but still they are missing from the archive? Or may be I do not know how to access them...

I am sure our classmates want to have your family and tour photos been restored on the blog!!

KS,

Your theory for the popularity of our blog seems a bit far-fetched to me! But it's a good try and good for our chat.

I took out my European tour photos and others which do not fit in with the raison d'etre of our blog so as to create more space for the older postings.

To access the oldest postings, look at the right hand side of the screen just above the indicator showing the no. of visitors to our blog. You should see "May", "June", etc. Just click into the relevant month and you will see all the postings for that month.

Rgds,
Hubert
